Brow & Lash Treatment
Best Practice
Clients must be over the age of 16. A waiting period of 7 days applied to those clients under the age of 18. This is a legal obligation.
Clients must submit the health questionnaire and consent to treatment. For best results, aftercare instructions should be followed.
Contraindications
A contraindication is a reason which could potentially prevent or restrict the treatment from being performed. This includes diseases or disorders of the skin and surrounding the brow and eye area.
Allergies to tints, Dermatitis in the area, Psoriasis, Eczema in the area. Steroid creams can thin the skin post use so avoid treatment for 6 weeks post the last day of use. Anyone with s stye, conjunctivitis, cold sore or recent surgery. Pregnant or breastfeeding is also contraindicated.
Adverse reactions
A test patch is best to be performed if you have never had a treatment before. Allergic reactions can cause rashes, itchy skin, burning sensation, swelling and tenderness, blisters, in severe cases shortness of breath.
NOTE: Clients may blame the product for their reaction, however is caused by their body reacting to an ingredient they are intolerant to.
