By holding the blade at a 45-degree angle, the aesthetician effectively “shaves off” the top layer of dead skin, along with fine vellus hairs or “peach fuzz.” This leaves your skin exceptionally smooth and helps skincare products absorb better. Treatment Series

For optimal results, a series of six treatments is recommended, spaced 2 to 6 weeks apart. The first three sessions should be scheduled 2 to 3 weeks apart, with subsequent sessions every 4 to 6 weeks.

What to Expect

Before your appointment, a customized home care routine will be created based on your skin type. It’s essential to discontinue any active skincare for the next 48 hours post-treatment. Using the Ultra Recovery cream and SPF protection is a must.

During the procedure, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and prepped. The aesthetician will then use the surgical blade to gently exfoliate each facial zone, removing dead skin and peach fuzz in a comfortable, relaxing manner. 

After the treatment, minor cuts or abrasions may occur but typically resolve within 24-48 hours.
